The benefits of self-awareness and meditation are not new to us. However, applying them practically is a challenge. In this workshop, we will learn the basic four stages of application of mindfulness into our personal lives that I have derived from my personal journey of mindfulness practice for the past 7+ years. I will also highlight the mistakes we make when developing such new habits and discuss what to expect in this journey of transformation while addressing your roadblocks with the best possible solutions.
People of any age group, with or without any level of yoga/meditation/mindfulness practice.
4 weekly sessions of 2 hours each
In this session, we will learn easy ways on how to train ourselves to practice mindfulness at the grossest level, which is our body. We will also learn ways to use mindfulness of body to improve our sitting, standing and sleeping postures as well as productivity and attention at whatever we do
In this session, we will learn easy ways on how to train ourselves to practice mindfulness at the subtle level, which is our breath. We will also learn ways to use mindfulness of breath to improve our concentration, productivity and attention at whatever we do and to manage everyday stress
In this session, we will learn ways on how to train ourselves to practice mindfulness at the more subtle level, which is our emotions. We will also learn ways to use mindfulness of emotions to identify our triggers in life and manage everyday stress by controlling our actions and reactions better
In this session, we will learn the importance of and ways on how to train ourselves to practice mindfulness at our thought level. We will also learn ways to use mindfulness of thoughts to identify our pattern of thinking, our perception towards various situations and improve our reactions and responses to them by transforming negative thoughts to positive thoughts, Thereby, improve our relationships with ourselves as well as others professionally and personally
After having pursued my passion to work as a Scientist in Bio-pharmaceutical industry for almost a decade, I was connected to my true purpose of life, which is to empower children and adults with simple tools to promote self-care as an essential part of their everyday life.
My journey in yoga started in 2012 when I injured my back in a series of accidents, simultaneously other challenges in my personal life led me to self-discover the practice of mindfulness. Since then I have continued to enhance my knowledge and practice by undergoing various workshops and courses. I have been teaching yoga & mindfulness for 8+ years now.
In my work, I often combine the knowledge of biology, psychology and various elements of yoga & mindfulness, to attain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
