About Network Summer Service Projects

Rooted in the Goals and Criteria with an emphasis on Goal III, Network Summer Service Projects intend to provide students with immersive learning experiences that promote the inherent dignity of all humans and deepen students' understanding of service to others. During these projects, Network students come together to examine varying social justice issues and consider different world realities. These programs encourage critical analysis, informed action, and civic responsibility through direct service, advocacy, proximity, and community partnerships. When participating in these projects, participants are asked to step outside their daily routine and live simply.

All Network students are invited to apply to participate in these programs and must identify a few choices when applying. Faculty members are also invited to apply to be chaperones for these important programs.
