Dear Student and Families,

  Welcome to Maplewood Intermediate School! It is so exciting that you are going to be a member of our Team Class family for the 

2025-2026 school year. We have planned many challenging and rewarding activities for us to do together throughout the year.

 As a third-grader, you will be learning many new things. You will be learning multiplication and division facts, fractions, and area. In addition, you will be studying balancing forces, inheritance traits, weather and climate, communities around the world, exploring the rainforest and so much more.  We will be reading a lot of great stories from all genres and even publishing our own stories to share. Your new classroom will be filled with books, magazines, puzzles, games, and more. There will even be a little something waiting for you on the first day of school.

We hope you are as excited as we are to start the new 2025-2026 school year. In order to participate in all of our exciting activities, you will need to purchase the list of supplies located within the School Supply Tab at the top of our Google Site page.  We are confident that each and every student will have a most successful school year. We are looking forward to meeting you in September. We hope you have a wonderful and enjoyable summer!
