Hello! My name is Jennifer Rodgers and this is my fifth year at SHUFSD.  I love teaching reading at South Huntington UFSD! I previously taught at an elementary school in NYC. I taught kindergarten, second, third and fifth grade located in Manhattan. I started at South Huntington teaching reading at Maplewood and Birchwood intermediate schools. I love getting to work with the K-2 students at Countrywood.  I am a mother of three beautiful growing girls!  We love to go on hikes, go to the beach, bake, read, ski, travel, garden and watch movies with popcorn.  I enjoy reading mystery novels and historical fiction. I am looking forward to sharing my love for reading with all of my students.  We are going to have an amazing time reading together and learning more about letters, sounds, words and stories! Let's all get lost in a book together!
