My name is Mrs. McCord, or Señora McCord, and I will be your Spanish teacher this year. I got my first exposure to Spanish as a child when I traveled to Mexico with family. In fifth grade, my teacher taught us some basic Spanish and I liked it a lot. I really began learning Spanish when I was a student at Stimson Middle School! I continued studying Spanish throughout high school and college. I was fortunate to be able to Study Abroad in Salamanca, Spain during my junior year of college I am excited to be teaching Spanish at Stimson Middle School again this year! I know we are going to have a great year!

I have lived in South Huntington for almost my entire life and I still live here now with my husband and twin sons. Say "Hi" if you ever see me outside of school!
