Mr. zaharios
About me
My name is Mr. Zaharios and I am a NYS Certified Social Studies Teacher and School Attendance Officer.
I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Education from Nichols College. I also earned my Masters of Science in Adolescence Education, with a concentration in Social Studies from LIU Post.
What made me decide to become a teacher is the fact that I love to help people in any capacity possible. I love being an effective role model, a positive influence in my community, and allowing my students to know I am there for them whenever they need me whether it's inside the classroom or outside the classroom.
For the upcoming semester I am excited to come back as an alumni and make a positive impact in my community, and meeting the new incoming students who will be enrolled at Walt Whitman! I can't wait to form positive student/teacher relationships and help further your education and success!
