My name is Mrs. Lally and I am a third, fourth, and fifth grade AIS reading teacher, here, at Birchwood Intermediate School.

This is my sixteenth year teaching in South Huntington School District. This is my twelfth year as a reading teacher. I have been a classroom teacher in each of the three grade levels here at Birchwood, including the third and fourth grade Dual Language program. I received my Bachelor's degree in Childhood Education from SUNY New Paltz and my Master's degree in Literacy from Long Island University, C.W. Post.

My goal is to promote learning for the students, in an exciting and stimulating way. The AIS Reading department works diligently to encourage confidence in students' individual abilities, and to foster a love of learning.
