Chromebooks

Students are responsible for the general care of the Chromebook they have been issued by the school. Students with Chromebooks that are broken or fail to work properly must take the device to one of the Chromebook support areas within the school as soon as possible so that they can be taken care of properly.

IMPORTANT CHROMEBOOK INFORMATION

HOW DO I RETURN A DISTRICT BORROWED CHROMEBOOK FROM MARCH-JUNE 2020?

If your child is enrolled in grades 4-6 , as of Sept. 2020., please return the borrowed Chromebook as soon as possible. Please bring the Chromebook to JKAO-60 Weston St. between 9:00-12:30pm each day. A South Huntington staff member will be sitting in the lobby to retreive your Chromebook and power cord.

WHAT IS A CHROMEBOOK AND HOW DO I USE IT WITH MY CHILD ?

Note- In the video it says to create a Gmal Account. You won't have to because South Huntington students are given a SHUFSD Google Account which inclucdes their school email and password. Please contact your child's teacher if you are unsure of their SHUFSD Google Credentials.

Every South Huntington student in grades PreK-12 will receive a Chromebook. We are currently working on deploying them to students in grades 4-6. As soon as our next Chromebook shipment arrives, we will be deploying them to students in grades PreK-3. More information to follow.
