Grading & Testing

Testing

Tests will be given at the completion of each unit/ chapter. All tests will be announced in advance to allow ample time to study. Class reviews will take place before a test is given. If you are absent on the day a test is given, you will be expected to take the test on the day you return to school.

***ALL TESTS MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED***

(Signed tests will be collected and filed in student's folder

which will be handed back in June prior to Science Final)

Grading

Quarter grade will consist of test/quiz grades, projects, class participation and homework.

Breakdown of quarter grade is as follows:

Assessments 35%

Projects/Labs 30%

Classwork/Homework 25%

Class Participation 10%
