Welcome to 5th grade! I am thrilled to be your teacher this school year. I taught at Oakwood for the past two years, and I am excited to join the Birchwood family this year. When I'm not at school, you can usually find me coaching basketball at Stimson or Whitman, spending time with my family, or exploring a new coffee shop. One of my favorite things to do is take my two French Bulldogs, Reggie and Jax, for a walk while enjoying a fresh cup of coffee. I can't wait to get to know each of you and make this a fun, exciting, and successful school year together!

Hello, 5th Graders!

My name is Ms. Ford, and I am so excited to be your 5th grade teacher this year at Birchwood! After spending the past 18 years at Silas Wood teaching Reading, ENL and English, I am thrilled to be making the jump to 5th grade. I can't wait to begin this new adventure with all of you!

Summer is my favorite season because I love spending time with my three kids, especially at the beach or by the pool during the summer. I love to read and be outdoors. So far this year, I have read 32 books.

I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you. We are going to learn so many new things together, and I know we will have a fun and exciting year. I can't wait to meet you and learn from you just as much as you will learn from me. See you soon!
