Hola,

Bienvenidos a mi clase de dos idiomas de tercer grado. Mi nombre es Lorena Batista y seré la maestra de español de su hijo/hija este año escolar. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de su hijo/hija!

Antes de trabajar en South Hunington, yo era profesora de dos idiomas en Queens, donde enseñé durante 7 años. Cuando me convertí en madre, decidí tomarme un tiempo libre para estar en casa con mis hijos. Durante ese tiempo me mudé a Huntington y comencé a trabajar aquí. Tengo 3 niños de edades 9,8 y 5. Mis hijos tambien van a escuela aquí en el districto escular de South Huntington.

Welcome to Third Grade Dual Language. My name is Lorena Batista and I will be your child's Spanish teacher this school year. I am very excited to be your child's teacher!

Prior to working in SHSD I was a dual language teacher in Queens, where I taught for 7 years. When I became a mom I decided to take time off from teaching to be home with my children. During that time I moved to Huntington and started working here and I LOVE it! I have 3 children ages 9, 8 and 5 and they all go to school here too !
