Welcome to Third Grade!

My name is Mrs. Weis, and I am so excited to share this journey with you and your child. My goal as an educator is not only to help support your child but to discover a life long love of learning too!

This will be my seventh year in the South Huntington School District. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Study (General and Special Education) as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication from St. Joseph's College. I continued my education at Dowling College and received a Master of Science Degree in Literacy (Grades K- 12). As a life-long learner myself, I continued after graduation at Stony Brook University and received an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology. I love to learn and hope to instill the same in my students!

I am also a resident of the South Huntington School district, where I live with my husband, son, and our cocker spaniel! Our entire family feels fortunate to be part of the South Huntington learning community!
