Hello, my name is Mrs. Stauder. I will be your child’s reading teacher this year. I am very eager about having the opportunity to work with your child and help them reach their learning potential this year.

As a teacher of reading, I feel that it is so important to foster an enjoyment of reading at an early age. I will help to develop this love of reading by developing educational yet enjoyable activities that correspond to those being taught within the classroom. I will also promote a relaxed learning environment within our reading groups so that all students feel comfortable enough to take risks. This will help to increase their confidence both within our reading group as well as in the classroom setting.

Within our groups, we will be working on the skills and strategies that they will need to master in order to be successful on the upcoming state assessments. I know that through this individualized instruction you will see your child’s achievement improve.
