Hello 3rd Grade Friends and Families,
It’s so lovely to meet you! My name is Mrs. Miranda and I am thrilled to be your 3rd grade teacher this year. This will be my eighth year teaching in South Huntington, and I couldn’t be more excited to start a new adventure with all of you!
I have so many exciting things planned for this school year. Our classroom is a place where learning is active, engaging, and fun—with hands-on activities, games, and learning centers that help us grow together. We’ll discover new things, build strong friendships, and create a community where everyone feels welcome. I just know this is going to be a fantastic year—and we’ll make sure of it together!
We’ll have lots of time to get to know one another soon, but I wanted to share a little bit about myself before the school year begins—just in case you’re feeling curious. My favorite color is green. I love spending time with my family, reading, and going to the beach. I have three sons Nicholas (3), and identical twin boys Michael and Thomas (1). I also have a Goldendoodle named Teddy.
You are welcome to also pack a small healthy snack each day that is separate from their lunch. You may also keep a water bottle at your desk if you choose.
I hope you are looking forward to our year together as much as I am. Enjoy your summer and I will see you soon!
Warmly,
Mrs. Miranda
