My name is Kristen Ging and I am the Resource Room Teacher for both Birchwood and Maplewood Intermediate Schools. I am SUPER excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to meeting you.


I have been teaching for over 18 years. My husband and I live in South Huntington with our 2 boys, Liam and Aidan. We have a very spirited Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Murphy, who loves to swim in the summertime. 

We are active in the community and enjoy the many diverse events South Huntington has to offer. Don't be surprised if you see my family and I around town. :-)

 We enjoy biking, traveling, swimming, skiing, playing board games, movie nights and sunny days at the beach.
