A Note From Mrs. Daniels

Welcome to Third Grade!

My name is Mrs. Daniels, I am so thrilled to start the 2023-2024 school year with all of you! It is my goal as an educator to provide a safe, healthy, productive, and supportive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to excel- academically, emotionally, and socially. We are going to learn so many new and exciting things this year. Some of the many goals I have for my students include becoming a more independent and life long learner.

This is my seventh year in the South Huntington School District. I have a Master's degree from Dowling College in Early Childhood and Childhood Education (Grades PreK-6). I continued my education at Brooklyn College to extend my certification in Special Education (Grades 1-6). I appreciate student's differences and am flexible to the needs of my students.

I am also a South Huntington Resident, where I live with my husband; a Walt Whitman graduate, our 13 year old son Cooper, and our adorable dog Shelby. We are so blessed to be a part of this wonderful community!

Please know that you are my top priority and I am available anytime. I am so looking forward to meeting all of you and creating wonderful learning experiences and memories with you for years to come!

¡Bienvenidos al tercer grado!

Mi nombre es Sra. Daniels, ¡estoy muy emocionada de comenzar el año escolar 2023-2024 con todos ustedes! Mi objetivo como educador es proporcionar un entorno de aprendizaje seguro, saludable, productivo y de apoyo donde todos tengan la oportunidad de sobresalir académica, emocional y socialmente. Vamos a aprender muchas cosas nuevas y emocionantes este año. Algunas de las muchas metas que tengo para mis estudiantes incluyen convertirme en un aprendiz más independiente y de por vida.

Este es mi séptimo año en el Distrito Escolar de South Huntington. Tengo una maestría de Dowling College en Educación Infantil e Infantil (Grados PreK-6). Continué mi educación en Brooklyn College para extender mi certificación en Educación Especial (Grados 1-6). Aprecio las diferencias de los estudiantes y soy flexible a las necesidades de mis estudiantes.

También soy residente de South Huntington, donde vivo con mi esposo; un graduado de Walt Whitman, mi hijo Cooper de 13 años y nuestro adorable perro Shelby. ¡Estamos muy bendecidos de ser parte de esta maravillosa comunidad!
