Homework

Each night (Monday - Thursday) your child will be given ELA and Math Homework*. Homework is a very important part of your child's job as a student, as it reinforces our daily instruction. I ask that parents please sign or initial the homework after it is completed in the top right corner. I also request that you don't correct the homework, but ensure it is done to the best of your child's ability. If they struggle with any given topic, please feel free to leave us a note :)

Parent's/Guardians will receive a 'Homework Alert' when assignments are missing. Students will be required to complete them either for homework or during recess. We ask that parents/guardians review the importance of completing assignments and turning them in on time. Parent's/Guardian's please sign and return the Homework Alert the next day.

*Any time projects are assigned, they may require your child to work on them over the weekend. You will ALWAYS be notified way in advance when your child has a project due. Normally I send home a slip that requires a parent signature when the project is assigned. I understand that everyone has busy schedules and this advance notice enables you to plan according to your schedule.
