About me
My name is Miss Baierlein, or Miss B, and I am a second career teacher. I grew up on Long Island and graduated from Pace University with a BBA in Entertainment Management. After graduating, I worked in the travel industry and managed sourcing and market research projects for major airlines and hotel chains. I decided to move into education during Covid. I graduated from Touro University with my Masters of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education. I have taught middle school math, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. I have been a dance teacher since 2016 at a local studio working with dancers from Pre-K to college.
I have a cat named Stu who manages to knock over every house plant I bring home. I love learning new things and sharing new ways to think with my students, from a mathematical and business perspective. I want to share new ways for students to think and work together to develop exciting, fun ideas!
