About the Coach

My name is Mrs. Daniels, I am so thrilled to start the school year with all of you! It is my goal as an educator to provide a safe, healthy, productive, and supportive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to excel- academically, emotionally, and socially. We are going to learn so many new and exciting things this year. Some of the many goals I have for my students include becoming a more independent and life long learner. I strive for students to become active creators, not passive consumers of technology in order to succeed in their future endeavors.

This is my tenth year in the South Huntington School District. I have a Master's degree from Dowling College in Early Childhood and Childhood Education (Grades PreK-6). I continued my education at Brooklyn College to extend my certification in Special Education (Grades 1-6) and Stony Brook University for a certificate in Educational Technology. I am excited to start another school year as the K-2 Instructional Technology Integration Coach. I also am the Director of Wildcat Coding and Innovation Summer Camp. I appreciate students' differences and am flexible to the needs of my students. 

I am also a South Huntington Resident, where I live with my husband; a Walt Whitman graduate, our son Cooper, and our adorable dog Shelby. We are so blessed to be a part of this wonderful community!
