What is a School Psychologist?
A School Psychologist is a professional who collaborates with administrators, teachers, parents, and other educational personnel to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. School psychologists may help to develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Accommodations Plans for eligible students. A wide breadth of training and education enables school psychologists to help students optimally function in every area of development.
School Psychologists provide students the necessary support to flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. They work collaboratively with other support staff to assist in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to help students become the best version of themselves.
