Dear Parents,

     Hello! I would like to welcome you and your child to my class!  How exciting!  I am looking forward to meeting you and your child on the first day! 

     The beginning of the school year will be a basic review of many of the skills your child has already learned.  The children will be adjusting to the routines of the class, getting acclimated to the classroom, and getting to know their new classmates and teacher! 

Before the start of the school year, I would like to briefly mention some of the procedures of the class:

     Please send your child to school with a snack everyday.  A juice box or a bottle of water is fine for a drink.  Please pack the snack in a separate bag labeled with your child's name.

One of the folders from the supply list will be designated a "take home" folder.  This folder will contain any worksheets that should be done for homework.  I will send home more information about our class homework policy after Curriculum Night.  This folder will also contain any school notices or notices from me.  I will check these folders every day.  If you need to send me any notes, please place them in this folder and I will be sure to get them.  Please empty the contents of the folder every day. 

Please send in an extra full set of clothing for your child.  If your child has an accident at school, I will reach out and let you know that soiled clothes will be coming home in your child’s backpack.
