Welcome to our
Earth Science Class Website!
What do you wonder about the world?
Are hurricanes getting stronger? What causes a tsunami? When will the next eclipse occur and how do we know? Together, we will discover the answers to these questions and many more as we explore the natural phenomena of Earth and beyond.
What is Earth Science?
Earth science is often broken down into three main subjects:
astronomy, meteorology, and geology.
A little more eloquently, it is the study of our planet and its past, present, and future place in the universe. Throughout this school year, we will dig into Earth's story through inquiry and investigation while preparing ourselves for the New York State Earth Science Regents. I am so excited to get to know all of you and to have a successful and fun year together!
