I believe foremost that my classroom will always be a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for all students. Opinions and comments are always respected and understood, for I believe that we learn from each other by both our similarities and our differences. Additionally, learning is an ongoing process that involves not just classroom relationships, but teacher and community relationships. By working together, we can all learn and grow in ways that are mental, social, emotional, and physical in nature.

This philosophy may change over time, but that’s okay. It simply means that I am living what I believe; to continually learn and grow.
