About Ambassadors

What does the Ambassador Club do?

This program represents one of our proudest district activities. We pair special education students with their typical peers for activities that build lifelong relationships within the school community. The primary goal of the Ambassador program is for students to mentor students with disabilities, helping them to develop friendships and social skills while also contributing to the school community.

The students love dancing, music, and creating new friends! Every month we have a main event after school. This typically consists of either a holiday party, movie, show, etc. This year, our events might look a little different-but we will still have some fun!

A huge element within the program is a basketball league comprised of our Ambassadors and their peers in the Special Education Program. Other events include bowling, the Autism Walk, the talent show, cheerleading, and the big end of the year party!
