Central Region School Facility Managers (CRSFM) Scholarships

CRSFM represents school facility and operations professionals from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry, and York Counties and has been supporting excellence and leadership in school facilities since 1987. Through this scholarship program, CRSFM aims to encourage and financially assist graduating seniors as they pursue post-secondary education or trade programs in these critical fields.
Students may be pursuing an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or an approved trade or certificate program related to facilities and operations, that include: facility management, construction, engineering, and the skilled trades. The scholarship committee will review applications and make selections based upon completed application including submitted transcript, recommendation letter(s), and essay. All scholarship funds will be issued based on the direction of the applicant's school district. Dauphin County Council of Republican Women (DCCRW) Scholarship

This $1,000.00 scholarship is to provide assistance to an undergraduate student. Applicants to the scholarship program must be a female resident of Dauphin County and in her final year of secondary education. Additionally, the student applicant must be a registered Republican or if too young to register, a parent and/or guardian must be registered as a Republican.
This scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding female student who is selected by the DCCRW Scholarship Committee on the basis of Academic Performance and Leadership Potential as demonstrated by high school grades, Scholastic Achievement Test scores and extra-curricular activities. A Letter of Recommendation must also be completed and submitted with the application package.
Applicant must also submit a 500-word essay discussing their interests and activities in school and/or community (example: work on political campaigns or other community service) and your interest and/or activity in politics (example: student government, American History, voting, etc.).

The Dr. George H. and Mrs. Hettie S. Love “Love of Learning” Scholarship is established by the Bishop Nathan Baxter Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians for Students of Color with a primary focus on the Black community, entering a 2-year or 4-year college majoring in Education. Preference is given to a student attending an Historically Black College and University (HBCU), especially Cheyney University of PA, Lincoln University in PA, or St. Augustine’s University, Raleigh, NC. An eligible student would have financial need and will exhibit promise for entering into the education field. The scholarship is designed to support Black students and students of color entering into the education profession.

This scholarship is for a Dauphin county senior who will be a foreign language major as a full time student at a four-year college/university in the fall of 2026. Steelton-Highspire High School graduates may apply for this scholarship that will be attending a two or four-year college or university to study music. You must have a 2.5 GPA, financial need, and evidence of extracurricular activities or volunteerism. Extra consideration will be given to those who plan to pursue audio engineering, non-traditional or other innovative forms of creative musical expression as well as high school students entering Lebanon Valley College for studying the same.

Hagan Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Parents 2024 Adjusted Household Income must not have exceeded $125,000. The scholarship provides $2,000 to help pay for essential items to attend college and up to $7,500 each semester for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Recipients must work 240 hours from January 1 to September 1, prior to the start of the fall semester each academic year. Employment and/or paid internships must be non-family employment, regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time or part-time. Epilepsy Association Scholarships

The Epilepsy Association of Western and Central PA (EAWCP) will award scholarships, totaling $11,500 to graduating high school seniors who are living with epilepsy/seizure disorder.
These scholarships are for students who are going on to post-secondary school including both academic and vocational training.
The three students with the highest total scores will receive a $1500 scholarship and the remaining scholarship recipients will receive a $1000 scholarship.
Applicant must:
· Have a diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder; this must be confirmed by a statement from the applicant’s physician
· Provide proof of acceptance to a post-secondary academic or vocational program
· Be a high school graduate of the class of 2026
· Attend post-secondary education full-time in the 2026-2027 school year
· Be a legal resident of Western or Central Pennsylvania
· Must attend at least one of the EAWCP’s Run/Walks in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or Erie

The scholarship is available to students who are majoring in one of the following areas: Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Science, Land Management, Wildlife Sciences, Urban or Regional Planning, or any plant or ecology related studies. A scholarship recipient who continues in a qualifying field of study and maintains good academic standing will be eligible to receive the $1000 award for all 4 years of education, without reapplying each year. Applicants should be made aware that this is potentially a $4000 scholarship if they meet these criteria.

Road to Safety Scholarship

Graduating, college-bound seniors may submit a creative project about the dangers of drunk and/or distracted driving for their chance to win college scholarship money. Selected first, second and third place winners will receive $1,000, $750 and $500 scholarships, respectively. The contest is now geared more towards audio/visual projects. It may be of particular interest to students who plan to study creative fields such as video production or graphic design; however, this type of anticipated major is not a mandatory requirement to enter. The Grow PA Scholarship Grant

Grow PA Scholarship Grants are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the date a complete application is received. Renewal applicants receive priority until July 1, 2026. To qualify, students must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are encouraged to complete the FAFSA before applying for a Grow PA Grant. The Grow PA Scholarship Grant provides up to $5,000 per year for students enrolled in eligible programs of study for a maximum of four academic years. Recipients must complete their program requirements and live and work in Pennsylvania for 12 months for each year they receive funding. Failure to meet these obligations will convert the scholarship grant to a loan that must be repaid.
