Entering Grade III

We believe math over the summer should be fun, hands-on, and include some practice just to keep the skills fresh. We have four resources below:

1) Math Calendar: The best way to practice math is to do a little bit every day. The SHS Math Calendar has fifty bite-sized math activities written especially for rising third graders. 

2) List of Games and Websites: Playing with math is absolutely good practice. Here are a list of some of our favorites.

3) 10 Ways to Build Number Sense: Here are 10 more suggestions of good activities to build number sense. These are great activities to do over the summer. 

4) Other Resources: Still want more? Maybe some more structured fact practice? We have some suggestions.
