Individual State Awards- 2023

On March 9, twelve SHS students competed in the Massachusett State Career Development Conference (ICDC), congrats to all state qualifiers an quizbowl participants!

Of these twelve, five became state finalists, three of which represented Shrewsbury High School on an international level in Orlando, Florida in April.

State Champions were Nuha Salam, Nayan Kaul, and Mariyah Khokhar!

State Finalists were Shamika Kanitkar and Swathi Kannan!

It is an amazing achievement for everyone competiting in states and we'll see you all in ICDC!

Individual Districts Awards - 2023

In January, Shrewsbury competed in their first ever DECA district competition. Competing in one of the largest districts (District 7), SHS DECA took home several awards and several state qualifiers.

First Place in Principles of Business Management & Administration was Shamika Kanitkar

Third Place in Personal Financial Literacy was Nayan Kaul

Third place in Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making was Nuha Salam and Mariyah Khokhar

Third Place in Principles of Hospitality and Tourism was Swathi Kannan

Third Place in Entrepreneurship Series was James Troy

In top seven was Trung Nguyen in Personal Financial Literacy
