We have some amazing teachers and an education assistant working with our multilingual students between our Burnsville and Richfield Campus.  They are  Jera Seigars, Rachel Rosenblum, Kristine Smith at the Burnsville Campus and Stephanie Hoeft and Taj Moore at the Richfield Campus. Ms. Seigars was a building substitute before starting her current role as an EL teacher and is going into her fourth year at Seven Hills.  Ms. Rosenblum was a second-grade teacher before changing roles to EL teacher last year and this is her 10th year at Seven Hills.  Ms. Smith has been an ELD teacher for 20 years and is in her 6th year at Seven Hills.  Mrs. Hoeft was a fifth-grade and sixth-grade social studies teacher at SHPA before starting her new role this year.   Ms. Moore has been an educational assistant with Seven Hills for the last 5 years and this is her second year full time with the EL Department. 

Your children are amazing and it is a pleasure to work with them each day. The multilingual and multicultural experiences of your students, enrich each other with the important skills needed in international and intercultural relations as they grow.

Our goal is for students to develop their language and communication with a global mindset. This looks like reading short stories from the voices of other multilingual youth, discussing and writing responses from a personal perspective, and how culture plays an important role in our wider society.
