Hello!
My name is Adya Markham. This is my first year at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy, but my third year teaching. I have a B.S in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. As part of that, I spent a wonderful year student teaching 4th grade in Prior Lake.
It has always been my dream to be a Kindergarten teacher, so I am very excited for this year. Everyday I am amazed with my students and what they are capable of doing. I work to create a positive and welcoming classroom environment for everyone. I want each student to feel successful and confident in their learning. We work together to develop friendships and learn how to communicate respectfully. I am dedicated to enriching students' lives and helping them grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
I have 7 cats; Mezzo, Bix, Buzz, Cassowary, Furby, Diplodocus and Pterodactyl. I love to show off my cats whenever I get the chance.
