Mr. Grutsch's Neighborhood
Mr. Grutsch is a teacher and assistant principal at Seven Hills Preparatory Academy in Richfield, Minnesota. He has been teaching at SHPA since 2010. Before that he taught in China, Honduras, and San Miguel Middle School (Minneapolis). He enjoys teaching along side his wife who is the SHPA Elementary Literacy Specialist at the Richfield campus. Together they have two wonderful children Freddie (10) and Ruby (4). Mr. Grutsch studied History (BS) and Art (minor) at North Dakota State University later he received his Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of St. Thomas. In 2021, he received a certificate in Charter School Leadership through Southwest Minnesota State University. He lives with his family in Bloomington with a leopard gecko (Freddie Jr.), a fish named Lloyd, and a slightly evil chihuahua (Sula).
