Auditorium Policies:

Snacks and drinks will be sold during intermission. Please eat/drink these items in the lobby and dispose of trash before entering the auditorium.
Dancers must remain in the dressing rooms with their class moms during the Recital.
Dancers are not allowed to "visit" family members during the show or intermission.
During Dress Rehearsals, classroom moms will bring students to the auditorium to watch until their performance, but they must stay with their classroom mom to ensure safety measures stay in place.
Parent or guardian may accompany each student to the dress rehearsal and watch the performance from the auditorium. You may bring a guest, but please be advised that this rehearsal will not run like our recital. We will be working on lighting, stage directions, prop placement, and may run numbers multiple times in a row. The dress rehearsal will not be a polished show like the recital is.
Parents or guardians may videotape or take photographs of their children at the dress rehearsal. Due to large number of cameras, no electrical outlets will be available. Be sure to charge your batteries!
NO video or photography will be allowed at the Recital. If you are caught filming the show during recital, ushers will ask you to leave.
This policy is put into place to ensure flash photography doesn't take away from filming. We have our recitals professionally videotaped.
Family members and friends are not permitted backstage or in the dressing rooms during rehearsal, recital, intermission, or before and after performances.
There is A LOT of backstage activity in a limited space, and dressing rooms are a private area.
Dancers change in these areas and should feel comfortable doing so without uninvited guests.
Please remind your family and guests to be respectful of these areas.
Those who wish to greet a performer after the show or present flowers should do so in the lobby area.
Dancers are encouraged to bring games, coloring books, and other activities to keep them preoccupied while they wait for their turn to dance. Please label all personal belonging with your name.
We suggest that students pack clear liquids to drink. Please do not send juice boxes or other sticky beverages. Also, please pack snacks that are not messy and will not ruin costumes. Pack items such as crackers, energy bars, apples, carrot sticks, or string cheese. Due to high number of peanut allergies, please do not pack peanuts.
Students are backstage for close to 3 hours, so please make sure you pack them a snack to eat.
Do not bring DS system or other technological devices if your student is not responsible enough to watch them backstage. Showcase and Backstage moms are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Men are not allowed in the hallways or dressing rooms as the dancers will be changing and need their privacy.
Doors will open at:
10:30am for 11am show
3:30pm for the 4pm show
If you are attending with a young child who may become restless during the performance, we kindly ask that you reserve seats near the end of a row to allow for an easy and discreet exit, if needed.
