What is #TeamSeas

Hi my name is Loie, I’m going to tell you about #Teamseas.

You have probably seen a lot of posters around Lake Bluff and you may not know what they are about. Well that poster, if you have read it, says: Help us donate $1000 dollars to #TeamSeas by December 22nd.

#Teamseas is a group of people that a YouTuber that we all probably know about – MrBeast – has created. When you donate money, say $5, MrBeast and the rest of #TeamSeas will remove five pounds of trash. Do you know how much that is? That is a lot of trash! So if we donate $1000 dollars to #Teamseas, MrBeast will remove 1000 pounds of trash from the ocean!

Your classroom has an envelope that you can put money into to help us donate $1000 dollars to #Teamseas! If we remove 1000 pounds of trash from the ocean, that will make sea creatures very happy AND they will not die from the trash.
