Support #TEAMSEAS
Hi, my name is Leo and I am a big supporter of all animals and plants. Recently I saw something that probably some of you are familiar with called #TEAMSEAS.
I got inspired to go into the work a bit further. The thing that got me inspired was not only that they’re cleaning up the trash in the oceans but also going out to the communities. This is because 99.9% of all trash comes from poor communities that don’t have the luxury of having a big truck come and take their trash. Since they don’t have anywhere to put it, the trash eventually ends up in close-by canals and rivers.
We can keep cleaning up the trash from the rivers but trash will keep coming, unless we stop the source of the trash. This is an important problem and one that everyone has to help to solve!
We can help solve it by donating. Students will have an envelope in their classroom that they can put donations in. I did some math and figured out that if every student at Lake Bluff donates about $1.50, then we will be able to reach our goal of $1000.
So please help and donate! Every dollar that gets donated will help us reach our goal and get 1000 pounds of trash out of the ocean and save our precious ocean creatures!
