There are a lot of pig types and a lot of facts about them.
Let’s start with the biggest pig, the pot-bellied pig. The pot-bellied pig can weigh up from 700 to 1,000 pounds as an adult! They also have straight tails instead of curly tails. When a baby pot-bellied pig is born, it is about 7 pounds. They gain about 20 pounds per year for multiple years!
Next up, the mini pig. Despite their name, an adult mini pig can weigh up to 200 pounds! That’s pretty heavy for a pig that’s called a mini pig!
I don’t have a favorite type of pig, I just like them all.
The last pig for today is… the teacup pig! The teacup pig is very similar to the mini pig. But, as you may have suspected, the teacup pig can fit in a teacup as a baby! It’s a very small pig as a baby, but, like the mini pig, the teacup pig can weigh up to 200 pounds as an adult!
This is a fact about all pigs: they can’t look straight up!
I hope you enjoyed!
