Hey, you have probably heard about the Rainbow Crew talking about the LGBTQ+ Community. Well here is a little lesson about things we have learned in Rainbow Crew and other LQBTQ+ community events.
First up we have the flags. They are a big part of the LGBTQ+ Community. The flags that can tell so much in a simple 2-12 color pattern
These are just some of the different flags in the LQBTQ+ community. Learning about these flags helps us know more of the different people in this world

We're talking a lot about this LGBTQ+ acronym but what is it really? The full acronym is LGBTTQQIAAP. Here is a photo to help you now what each letter in the acronym stands for:

This is a way for you to know more about one of these words
Look for your favorite word in the acronym
Use the chart to make a word and picture drawing on your word
Lesbian means that a woman love woman
Gay is when some of the same sex loves the same sex.
Bisexual is when a person loves ether sex.
Transgender is when a person feels like the opposite gender
Queer means lots of different meanings
Questioning - asking question
Intersex means you are both genders because of special body parts (singing lady in “The Greatest Showman” )
Asexual means you do not have sexual relationships
Ally - someone who supports any one of the LGBTQ+ community
Pansexual - you love anyone no regards to their gender
PRONOUNS
You choose your pronouns and you change them. It is your right.
You can be she/her, he/they, they/her. And so many other combinations. But they are yours and uniquely yours no matter what. Personally I am a she/her but you can be whatever you feel like.
One way you can tell people is getting pins to say your pronouns. Another really easy way is just to say it. Or put it at the end of a text or email.
