Hello! We are Ella and Samantha , and we are going to interview a new teacher at Lake Bluff, Mrs. Purgill, or you might formerly know her as Ms. Tainter. She teaches our 4th grade class. Here’s our Q & A:

Q:What was your job before you started teaching at LB?

A: Before coming here I taught 5th grade in another school district.

Q:Why did you want to teach at LB?

A: I loved the idea of working at a smaller school district and getting to know my students better.

Q: What is your favorite part about teaching here?

A: The kids! You’re fun to teach.

Q: What is/was your favorite grade to teach?

A: 4th grade because you’re independent and love to explore learning.

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: Tamales. They’re just so good! Also very filling.

Q: What would you say to people who would like to teach?

A: Explore all your options for teaching. Try to find what you like best.
