A vaccine is a medicine we put in our body to protect us from a certain sickness. And a Covid-19 vaccine for almost all ages is out. The 5 - 11 Covid vaccine came out on Tuesday November 2 2021. On December 11 2020 the 16 and up vaccine came out. And on May 10 2021 those 12 through 15 could also get it. Now we will see what students and teachers think about the Covid vaccine and if they want to get it or if they already have gotten it.
Kingston: He trusts all the doctors that made it and he is excited to get the vaccine. He's excited to get it so he doesn't have to wear masks as often. He thinks masks will be optional at school next year. And if so he won't wear a mask.
Sundari: She thinks it is good that we have the vaccine and glad that almost all ages can get it. She now has both shots. Sundari thinks it will be better although we will still have to wear masks.
Betsy: Very excited that kids 5 through 11 can get it now. She got the first dose. She's hoping that things will mostly be back to normal but thinks that there will be some rules. She thinks it will be better and hopes that everyone who can get it does.
Ms Miller: She thinks it's essential and it's wonderful that it's available for almost everyone. She think that schools will still hold vaccine clinics and she hopes we are able to safely get back to using tables, specifically in our classroom
That is what some students and teachers think about the covid vaccines. What do you think about the covid vaccines?
