There are many types of horses and ponies. Horses and ponies lifespans are 25–30 years.
It started off from Arabian horses when the Romans would battle different tribes. But then days started to get more modern and there started to be more types of horses. Romans started to make different tack (like a saddle) when their bridle (a thing to control where your horse) would just be a piece of rope wrapped around the horses bottom jaw.
Now let’s start talking about big horses. There are less big horses than regular sized horses. Big horses were usually for pulling wagons and harvesting crops back then, and they still do that today. If you have ever gone to a horse show, sometimes there are clydesdales, percherons, shires, haflingers, or belgians. They have a special kind of tack to connect to wagons.
