5 Things to do in Shorewood

Are you bored?? Well we’ve got your solution, here are 5 things to do in Shorewood!

1. Explore Oakland avenue. Some examples: Mod Pizza, Three Lions, Bonobo, Signature Sweets, Starbucks, Stone Creek Coffee, Harry’s, Fiddleheads, and if you have a pet there’s a Pet store!

2. Go down Lake Drive, a little past Newton there’s a beautiful nature preserve that’s right by the one and only Lake Michigan, it’s beautiful in all seasons but I recommend you go in winter!

3. Visit Atwater beach, it has a park at the top of the beach and down on the left of the beach there’s a park too! And obviously you could go swimming in the Lake!

4. Go to the Shorewood Library, investigate books. There’s also some movie and song CDs! If you have a little sibling there’s even a little play area. In summer you can also see caterpillars. There’s also reading competitions in summer!

5. Visit Estabrook Park! There’s a baseball diamond, there’s a playground and a farmers market and a beer garden and there's even a dog park!
