Find a picture story book at home and read the story to yourself. Now retell the story in your own words. You may either write the story in your own words, record yourself retelling the story or draw and label the main parts of the story in order.

Another option is log into Seesaw, there is a 5 finger retell activity assigned for you.

Writing:

• Using the Story Starter Spinner below, spin your story idea. Now write your creative story! Don't forget capital letters and full stops. You might like to handwrite or type your letter on Google Docs
