Ms. Howell's Kindergarten Class

Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Jocelyn Howell, and I am entering my first year of teaching. I could not be more excited to start here at SHP and get to know you and your child! I graduated from LeTourneau University in May 2023 with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and am certified to teach EC-6th. I chose to do my student teaching at SHP in kindergarten this past year and fell in love with the school and grade level! It is so special to see the impact you leave on these students' lives, and how much they grow and succeed. A little more about me is that I was born and raised in Diana, Texas where I attended school from 2nd-12th! I am the oldest of 4 siblings and am very much family oriented. In my classroom, we will treat each other as a family, and I will do my best to create a safe and loving environment to make this possible!
