Read and organise yourself to be at school for your call time for your allocated performances
If you cannot attend on a particular night you must organise someone to swap with you and notify productions@shirechristian.nsw.edu.au of the change.
SATURDAY DRESS REHEARSAL - PLEASE BE AT SCHOOL AT 9AM
Stage Crew - CALL TIME 5:30pm, Go to Hall (see Naomi Seaton)
Move and set up props, scenery, and furniture during scene changes.
Ensure smooth transitions by following cues and working efficiently.
Assist with backstage organisation and quick changes.
Maintain a safe and clutter-free backstage environment.
Stage Managers/Student Leader: Delegates tasks, ensures smooth operations, and reports to the Deputy SM for instructions/clarification.
Lighting - CALL TIME 5:30pm, Go to Hall (See Tim Robertson)
Operate and adjust stage lights during rehearsals and performances.
Follow lighting cues and ensure correct intensity, color, and timing.
Assist with setting up and testing lighting equipment.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues under supervision.
Student Leader: Oversees lighting setup, assigns responsibilities, communicates with the production team and reports to the Deputy SM for instructions/clarification.
Sound - CALL TIME 5:30pm, Go to Hall (See Cuepoint Tech)
Assist with setting up and testing audio equipment - specifically mic packs.
Work with performers to ensure proper microphone placement, maintenance and mic swaps.
Student Leader: Manages sound setup, assigns roles, and liaises with the CuePoint sound technician.
Makeup & Hair - CALL TIME 5:00pm, Go to Science Labs (See Mrs Johns)
Apply stage makeup and hairstyles according to character requirements.
Assist performers with quick changes and touch-ups.
Keep workstations organised and maintain hygiene standards.
Ensure the makeup and hair room is tidied and all supplies are stored properly.
Student Leader: Delegates tasks, ensures the room is kept tidy, and reports to the production team supervising teacher for guidance.
Front of House - Ticketing - CALL TIME 6:00pm, Go to Hall (See Mrs DeWitte)
Check and scan tickets at the entrance.
Provide information about seating and the event schedule.
Assist with tidying seating after the show.
Student Leader: Oversees ticketing operations, assigns tasks, and reports to the production team & Deputy SM.
Ushers - CALL TIME 6:00pm, Go to Hall (See Mrs DeWitte)
Greet and direct audience members to their seats.
Pick up rubbish, sweep/vacuum the theatre seats and stairs
Distribute programs and provide assistance as needed.
Ensure audience members follow directions eg. to the quad/bathrooms
Student Leader: Coordinates usher duties and communicates with the production team.
Front of House - Food Service (BBQ Assistance) - CALL TIME 5:15pm, Go to Food Tech Kitchen (See Mrs Ho)
Prepare and distribute food and beverages before the show
Maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene protocols.
Student Leader: Manages food service operations, assigns roles, and liaises with the production team.
Costume Helpers/Organisers - CALL TIME 5:15pm, Go to IRC
Assist with costume fittings and embellishments.
Organize and track costumes for each performer.
Help with quick changes and ensure costumes are ready for each scene.
Ensure the costume room is tidied and all items are properly stored after use.
Student Leader: Oversees costume management, assigns responsibilities, and reports to the production team for instructions.
