Ring Sizer Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Ring Sizer, an iOS application provided by Shipyard Studios, a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using Ring Sizer (the “App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License Grant

Shipyard Studios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Core Features & Restrictions

Measuring Tools
- Ring Sizer lets you measure ring diameters and finger circumferences using on-screen guides.
- You may store measurements locally on your device or via your personal iCloud account; we do not store or have access to your measurement data.
Usage Limits
- The App is free to download and includes a limited number of measurements.
- To unlock unlimited measurements and additional features, you must purchase an in-app subscription or one-time purchase.
- All purchases are final; please review your purchase carefully before confirming.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You manage and cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID account settings.
We do not issue refunds except as required by applicable law or Apple’s refund policies.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

No Personal Data
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.
Analytics & Crash Data
- We collect anonymous analytics and crash reports to improve App performance. This data cannot be linked to you personally.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

Not a Professional Fitting
- The App is intended for personal reference only and is not a substitute for professional ring fitting.
No Liability for Errors
- You assume all risk of inaccurate measurements. We disclaim any liability for rings ordered or manufactured using measurements from this App.
Device Variability
- Measurement accuracy may vary by device model, screen protector, or camera calibration. We are not responsible for discrepancies.

7. Intellectual Property

All App content—code, graphics, text, and trademarks—is owned by Shipyard Studios or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our App or included content.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shipyard Studios and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
- Our total liability for direct damages will not exceed the greater of CDN $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada.
Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, you will be notified in-app. Continued use of the App after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
