Short Bio
Tipporn Laohakangvalvit (Tip) was born and lived in Thailand. She enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program at Computer Engineering Department, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand in 2009 to 2012, and continued to Master's program there right after that.
She moved to Tokyo, Japan, since September 2014 to enroll in the Master+Doctoral program (Hybrid Twinning Program) at the Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan. Then, she proceeded to the doctoral program at SIT from 2015. After receiving a Ph.D. in 2018, she pursue her research career as a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). From Oct 2020, she started her career at SIT as Assistant Professor. She is promoted as an Associate Professor from April 2025.
