High-Pressure Science consists of various field of science such as "Inside of the Earth", "New Material synthesis", "Physical property measurement under ultra-high pressure", "development of Instrument for higher pressure", and "application of pressure for Food or life-related items". These are strongly related to each other, and affects the other subjects. We have been studying New material research in inorganic materials such as complex metal oxides. The expecting functions of the materials are Superconductivity, Magnetism, Metal-insulator transition, Semiconductivity, and so on.
