Class Newsletters 

Newsletter: October 20 - October 24 

Reading: We will learn about the vowel +r sounds, critical vocabulary, point of view, visualize, homographs/homophones, theme, text/graphic features, and the prefixes sub- and fore-. Our cold read test is Friday, October 24.

English & Writing: We will learn about singular and plural nouns, nouns ending with y, more plural nouns, and singular possessive nouns. The Nouns Test should be Wednesday, October 29. 

Math:  We will learn about using partial quotients to divide, use partial quotients to divide greater dividends, using sharing to divide, continue sharing to divide, and choosing a strategy to divide.  

Science: We will learn about how plants make food and what adaptations are. 

Social Studies: We will review what conditions powered the Industrial Revolution, learn about how attracts people to the Northeast today, and learn about what links the Northeast to the world.
