Class Newsletters 

Newsletter: March 2 - March 6

Reading: We will learn about words with VCCCV syllable pattern, critical vocabulary, make/confirm predictions, idioms, text/graphic features, point of view, and the Greek roots meter, therm, phon, tele, and scope. Our cold read test is Friday, March 6.

English & Writing: We will continue our opinion writing. The Third Quarter Writing Test will be Tuesday, March 10.  

Math: We will learn about equivalence with customary units of length, equivalence with customary units of capacity, equivalence with customary units of weight, and equivalence with metric units of length. 

Science: We will review, and the Chapter 7 Test is Friday, March 6.  

Social Studies: The Southwest Map & Abbreviations Test is Thursday, March 5. We will also learn about what drove people in and out of the Southwest region.
