Homework

Daily homework, including Fridays, is one session of Freckle math practice and 20 minutes of reading. 

Every two weeks there will also be a spelling test, so students are asked to practice their spelling both in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. You can find the list of words and  games for the kids to practice with on our google classroom, as well as through the button to the left. The current list of words is also posted on Google Classroom.

Occasionally there will be additional homework if we are working on a project, or if students don't finish their classwork, but generally this will be the only regular homework. 

Students can read from a book of their choice at home, but it should be a chapter book, not a graphic novel. These should be the "dessert," not the "main course."

Parents, please sign their planner for each day that they have done their homework.
