Students will learn more about themselves, each other, and how to navigate the unique middle school years.
Grade 6 Health is a pass/fail course. Students who come to class, participate, and show progress of learning will be successful!
Curiosity, playfulness, and connection tie all activities together.
We use curriculum resources including, but not limited to, Second Step (also used in Shen elementary schools) and Learn Kind.
We'll work to improve the following skills:
Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, & Responsible Decision-Making.
Self-reflection, interactive games, journaling, conversations, community circles, art creation, scenarios, role-plays & more!
