The Middle School Program of Studies outlines the expectations for all core and elective/exploratory courses offered in SCPS middle schools. While in middle school, students will take eight courses per year. The academic core includes English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Health and Physical Education. The Secondary Program of Studies is available to assist students in grades six, seven and eight and their parents with the selection of courses at the high school level. This document will assist in planning for a student's program of study and career pathway selection.
