Thank you Seniors! You are the most amazing people and will go far in life. Each of these individuals help lead at the construction site and be leaders on the crew. It was the work ethic, the ability to adjust, and the persistence that has helped us get this project to this point. Good Luck in the future!
On Wednesday January 12, 2022, we had a meeting with members of the community about a potential CTE expansion project. We had our senior class leaders Zachary Foster and Gracie Hopkins come and talk about why they took this class and how its going to help with our community. It was a great opportunity to have the students come and listen to what the community had to say.
The Construction Trades class took a trip to Woodbine to tour their construction trades class, the house they are building and their new CTE facility. It was a very nice facility and we were amazed by their house building project. This was a great experience because it showed our school what we are capable of. They gave us multiple pointers about how to be prepared for working on our house. Some things they told us were to be on time and be ready to work, find some type of way to stay organized so we aren't taking 20 minutes to look for tools, have time for each team to take a break, clean up, and put everything away.
